Position Description: A TDG Representative is a part time, home based, commission position.  A TDG Representative must be able to identify probable candidates for Teknika’s services and then design events at TDG’s showroom that will compel these potential clients to participate in and complement you and Teknika on a fantastic occasion. These events could include seminars, cocktail parties or cooking demonstrations.  Whatever you think will attract your prospects.

Who: Teknika Design Group is looking for proven salespeople with a wide network of friends and contacts.  This person will be Teknika’s person in the neighborhood, looking for and talking to potential clients who would benefit from TDG’s expertise in residential kitchen and bath design and project management.  

They must:

• love talking with people        
• feel comfortable making recommendations
• identify what concerns potential clients have regarding TDG
• get creative when developing events at TDG’s showroom
• be great at parties and events
• live within 10 miles of Philadelphia

Training: Teknika Representative’s will learn about kitchen and bath cabinetry, plumbing, lighting, appliances and other products so as to be able to talk knowledgeably about Teknika Design Group.  This will include:

• Seminar on residential Kitchen and Bath design and products (fun stuff to know anyway)
• Binder with information about TDG and kitchen and bath design
• Monthly updates on new trends, technologies in kitchen and Bath design
• Business Cards

Compensation: Kitchen commission based on number of sales (of kitchen cabinets)

• 1 – 2 kitchens:             2% of total cabinet sale
• 3 – 5 kitchens:             4% of total cabinet sale
• 5+ kitchens:                 5% of total cabinet sale

Average kitchen cabinet sale is $12,000

• Bath Commission would be $150 per bathroom (for any bath project over $4,000)
• Bonus after 10, 20, 30 sales
  • an additional $500
