We ask that you make an appointment with a designer for this initial consultation. That way we can be sure to give you our undivided attention for this important first meeting.
Your designer will go over the items you have brought with you as well as introduce you to the showroom to help you start creating your ideal space. The goal of the initial meeting is to exchange ideas with your designer so you both develop the same vision for your project. The meeting should take between one to one and a half hours. If you are doing a kitchen, we recommend filling out the Kitchen Planning Guide as this can be helpful for you and your designer. You will find a copy of this on the Design Process page.
You will discuss the following topics with your designer:
› Your family and lifestyle
› Your design style
› Ergonomics
› Mobility issues
› Cabinet Lines offered and their differences
› Door Style/Cabinet Types/Door Finish and Wood Type
› Storage Requirements
› Room Limitations to overcome and advantages to highlight
› Feature Area/Item
› Plumbing
› Countertops
› Budget
Kitchen only projects
› Entertainment Needs
› Dining Needs
› Appliances
